Ernesto Ferro is one lucky man. He is well known in Aruba throughout the resorts and for lovely melodies. He is originally from Venezuela and is delighted to play his music on his guitar to it is his passion and loves to share it with everyone. He plays for three resorts twice a week at Aruba Beach Resort, once a week at Divi Phoenix Resort and at the Radisson Resort the rest of the week. Ernesto has spent all his life enjoying music and playing guitar, it is his life in which he found the best job to express what he loves most.
Last year ATA was motivated by his performance at the Wyndham Resort in which he performed a live show representing Queen. He had written the group to please come to Aruba for this event on their behalf but unfortunately they had other plans. In the mean time ATA invited Queen to perform at the Aruba Music Festival 2005. Ernesto received a surprise visit from Brian May at the resort thanking him for the wonderful tribute.
Ernesto is also very hand with his hands; he has mastered the technique of building a guitar which is shown in the photo with Tom Shaw of Styx. His new project is a new electric guitar made with violin material and he is so proud of what he has been gifted with.
At this year Aruba Music Festival Ernesto once again had the pleasure in meeting STYX and Lionel Richie in person and capturing the moment on film.
Ernesto is working on a new cd that will be out soon. Ernesto thanks the guest who watch him perform nightly but best of all the island of Aruba for this opportunity and pleasure to play his melodies that came from his heart & soul.
“Lets make love and music, Not war” stated Ernesto.
Ernesto is also happy to have the honor to have the Dutch Queen on the island of Aruba and hopes he has the chance to see the Majesty at one of his performances at the Radisson Resort.
